The syrup I love best for baking, cooking or just plain slathering all over my pancakes until they are swimming is from Sweet Sourland Farms. My husband keeps buying these little half pints of syrup, and I am going to have to make a run for their larger size as that does not last long. I hate when I run out and have to use backup! Just not the same. I am not a fan of dark syrup, nor one that is too light. This just fits the bill. It's absolutely delicious.
They sell directly from the farm and at a few local vendors. I know my husband has picked up a few bottles from Cherry Grove Farm in Lawrenceville, NJ. (They have a cute gift shop and make wonderful cheese!)
